Tweed & Tweed

Black tweed blazer Exclamation! similar here but I want THIS one now
Black mock neck sweater Calvin Klein, almost identical under 20.00 USD here
Jeans Gap
Tweed cap toe flats Sam Edelman, similar here

It seems like most things are originally made for men, like for example tweed fabric. Originally a gentleman's fabric for performance wear, it was durable, moisture resistant, lightweight and warm, just what you needed for hunting in Scottish states (full story here).
While I had no idea this was its original use, the fabric's current wear only shows that with just the right twist and adjustment you can turn something basic and overlooked into something magic. I can only wonder if when tweed was first used they'd think it could be used in a pair of stylish flats.

I like tweed, I like blazers, and I like this kind of daily outfits. I know You have elegant dark pants (a saw them a few times), they would fit great here.

Now a tweed blazer is also associated to one of the most iconic designs from Chanel.

Tweed really is magical! I absolutely love a tweed blazer paired with jeans, too. The contrast is spectacular. And tweed shoes! Yes, please! You look fabulous, my friend. Thanks so much for linking up with me On the Edge!
